TheJackBurton wrote: 01 Dec 2025 20:07 pm I love Binny, but he was complete (donkey) in the first. That second one he looked completely unprepared for that shot. He never even went into the butterfly just threw his blocker out.

I get he's (upset), but get your (A female canine animal, especially a dog) (donkey) out of the clubhouse and get on the bench when the 2nd period starts.

It's as much a middle finger to your teammates who constantly defend him as it is to Monty.
Umm.. Butterfly don't do shizzzz when it's by your blocker. Just an FYI. Outta position is a a dif story. Blocker side is the hardest save IMO as it is such an awkward movement and with holding the stick doesn't allow for full movement. Again - positioning helps with blocker saves, and why glove saves can look amazing, but not blocker saves.
I get that, but my point is he wasn't ready for the shot at all. He appeared almost surprised by it. I mean how many shots do you see stopped with goalers on their skates? I'd say less than 5% even shots to the blocker side.
FYI guys, replay showed that both Ducks goals were tipped by Blues players. Fowler on the first, and Faulk on the second. It's no wonder that he was upset at being removed. He didnt have a chance on either.
The first one was, but I didn't see the second tipped by Faulk even after 2 or 3 replays. Even then he wasn't ready for it, he wasn't in position at all.

I defend the hell out of Binnington constantly, but he simply didn't have it tonight.

Monty will likely be much faster with his hooks from here on out as we have seen these types of games avalanche from there when they look that bad on the first two goals.
The second one was tipped too. I just watched the replay. In my opinion it may have been Montgomery just thinking we can't afford to get behind 2 or 3 goals and just not liking what he was seeing in Binnington. If they were a few games over .500 I'm sure he would have left him in there.
Tipped or not those are soft goals too far out to beat an NHL goalie Binnie sucks he needs to go, send Schenn off with him while we are at both are dead weight at this point holding the team back. Monty has seen enough of he goes back to Bummington at Boston it's on Monty Binnie can't stop a beach ball

St Louis Priests practicing their celibacy and refusing to score, no matter the temptation, including Buch in front of an empty net.

We’re gonna run out of time if we don’t score on one of these power plays

Lack of concentration or lack of skill.
Buch had an opportunity.
And guys keep moving around on this one and hit the puck with your stick for heavens sakes

I'd trade Buchnevich for Perron straight up at this point. 100% serious.

Ex-Blues really love to play against their former team. This is the worst I've seen this team play in weeks and probably the most pathetic power play I've seen all season.

SIDENOTE: Anyone else just despise the stickhandling, puck-cradling, shot-prep phrase "Dusts it off!" that has for some reason become so popular in the last 10 years? lol

This where we need Broberg to take over this game and score 3 goals to win it

I don’t think I have seen more players whiff on shots more than this team.
