Portal season

Post by onemizzou »

I'm hoping that with all the coaching changes there will be plenty of portal talent to scoop up. We need Oline help badly and with both our starting corners gone we need replacements there. A DT would be nice if we can get another ChrisM. Other than that there are no serious position deficiencies.

I would think some quality OL would like the chance to block for Hardy and Roberts.

QB?
Is one leaving? I don't see it but it could happen. Otherwise, we're fine.

Fans always say those type of things but the players care about the coach that can get them to the NFL and (now) the money. We need to pay up to get he oline help we need.

We will need a center...........Although we got by with tollison who did nothing but wave at rushing linemen this year especially when we got to conference

The portal works both ways. It's not inconceivable that 1 or more of the top WRs leave with this offense reverting to wishbone territory. And that Davis hits the road with Hardy and Roberts ahead of him. Good players want to play.

a kicker has to be the number one need going into next year. I would get rid of the two we have and bring in three new ones, make them earn the job, not just because they are the last man standing.

This. The kid will be special and should be a top priority.

Who's going to get him the ball? I suppose we could have 10-15 end arounds per game.

Unless Beaus hand was really injured, there is no way anyone could think Mizzou is fine at QB going into next season. Literally nothing supports that claim

Fairly amazing that our horrible offensive line allowed us to produce 355 rushing yards on 56 carries (nearly seven yards a carry) which don’t even include a 67 yard punt return, during our last game.
