This is the reason why you have to have NHL depth ... and one of the reasons Bjugsted was signed.

It’s Toropchenko with the scalding legs

Did I say it wrong, Mn? Snuggy is right handed so the left hand is not rotating much. It would be pretty stationary. And that is the injured wrist. The right hand is more active, right..and that wrist is ok. Need to get out an old stick and shoot again .
No, I’m saying as a right handed shot, he will need to snap his left wrist (top hand). It would not be stationary at all. I’m saying keeping it stationary is an amateur move and why a lot of rec players have weak shots. Snuggy clearly doesn’t. He clearly snaps his top wrist very well so yeah, this injury isn’t good for him at all.

Correct. Carbo’s not an option until his season in the Q is over. And right now, I’d expect the Armada’s season to extend past the Blues’ season.

Kaski's a prototypical Finnish player. By that, I mean he is a responsible player - capable in just about all situations, and rarely is out of position, especially defensively. In the absence of Toropchenko, what Kaski lacks in Torpo's size he makes up for in smarts.
Should bring up Stenberg too and give him a look

There is something weird about this team where they lose one important player in the top 4 D or top 6 F and they counterintuitively play better.

I think they are viewing Stenberg as not quite ready. At some point i heard Ryan Smith i believe say they are still working with him on his complete game. He looked good to me in camp thought he might stick at that point. Bringing up Kaskimaki does not surprise me he seemed like the next kid up given more AHL experience a more rounded game, hes ready. Hopefully Kaskimaki shows well id like to see him make some one else expendable. I believe Kaskmaki has more skill than Torop, Joseph or Walker

Correct. As a right shot in hockey the left hand is naturally the dominant hand. A left wrist injury is more concerning for Snuggerud.
Oh man, very sorry to hear this. And soft tissue is more difficult to recover from, especially in wrist. Hand and wrist surgeries are intricate...he's young let's hope it all goes well and soon. And that shot release of his is without a doubt what puts him in top line category.
Ughh. Next man step up.

Philip Broberg -- Colton Parayko
Matthew Kessel -- Justin Faulk
Cam Fowler -- Logan Mailloux

Thoughts?
I would switch Holloway and Schenn
I agree, for sure at the start

Let's hope they let it heal fully before putting him back out there.

In the past I attributed that to guys like Buchy/Thomas/Kyrou who can be frustratingly silent decide they have to get the goal. so they end up playing more direct. when there's more of them out there, especially Thomas, he gets pass happy.

We will see if this years team does anything different.

One player who needs to start contributing on offense is Dvorsky. In general everyone, but he needs to get in gear.
