They paid a Kings Ransom for the biggest prostitute in all football, College or NFL. Already the SEC talking heads are saying he is already looking for his next job because that's just what this immoral soulless ghoul always does. When ole miss hired him after his time in the wilderness of being Bama's OC and then FIU or whatever directional school that was it was to rehabilitate his spoiled rep and prepare him for the next job that was a given. Then when he actually rebooted that wayward program to a consistant winner and going into playoffs 11-1 what does he do? completely blows up program on way out the door even tho Ole Miss would have matched any offer he got.
But no Lane the Hoe had to offer all his assistants and players on sunday destroying everything he had built and even tho he swore on his childrens souls that he was staying up to Saturday that was worthless talk of course because that's what he is and does.
Now all the ole miss and all college fb fans can do is hope Kharma rises up and bites him in the (bleep). Every coach recruiting against him can tell the truth and say he is a LIAR and nothing he says means anything. IMO he should have real problems retaining key players and recruits at LSU but who knows they may be swayed by his lies and promises. We shall see.
But if Bama or Texas HC position opens up and they come with more treasure? HE GONE!!!
will Lsu fans still be celebrating when Lane leaves?

An individual decides to take a higher paid job elsewhere for a different employer. Why all the butt hurt?
Re: will Lsu fans still be celebrating when Lane leaves?
Nothing if that individual conducts himself with honesty and integrity and has no one else linked to his actions.
Educate yourself on Kiffin’s checkered past and you will see that honesty and integrity, and concern for others have never been part of the equation.
LSU fans now find themselves in the uncomfortable position of rooting for Alabama.
If Bama begins to lose a few, that job will be open and Kiffin will wave goodbye to Baton Rouge.

It’s much more likely IMO in 3 years we’re talking about Kiffin getting fired because he’s 27-12 with a bowl loss or two, and no playoffs.

It depends on who the Governor is.
Good God.
Good God.

Stories now pouring out of Oxford are hair raising (drugs, women, drunk driving) Would help explain the 'grating personality' they always refer to.
Guessing in 3 years it's the NFL calling, if not AL.

What dishonesty did he display? Ole Miss (and LSU) should have been aware of his past moves and factored that in with their hiring decisions.45s wrote: ↑01 Dec 2025 15:25 pmNothing if that individual conducts himself with honesty and integrity and has no one else linked to his actions.

This. Or moving to a different job before the ax can fall.Armchair QB wrote: ↑01 Dec 2025 18:30 pm It’s much more likely IMO in 3 years we’re talking about Kiffin getting fired because he’s 27-12 with a bowl loss or two, and no playoffs.

LSU is a lot of things. So is Ol'Miss.
We do not know what took place behind closed doors for the last couple of months. Maybe the Ol Miss brass was not liking some of the stuff Kiffin was doing in the background. I am just guessing. Then LSU fire their coach and then all of the sudden Kiffin became the darling hire for somebody with the biggest pile of money
And, this has zero to do with the Mizzou school and followers.
At LSU, the pressure will be so high, Kiffin would feel like he is already on the hot seat.
