A lot of people puffed out their chest and wanted to be in the SEC well that's the price that is paid.
You can't build on a whim as the have nots like you can the blue bloods with seemingly unlimited funds and several inherent advantages.
Ask SC and Kentucky for just two examples.
The program is better off now than when he took over and not just in wins and losses.
Sustainability could take a decade maybe longer.
Anyone thinking this school's football program was going to come in this conference and dominate over the long haul was dreaming.
This will take a ton of money, commitment and time and even then it will be a steep climb if it ever happens at all.

But I don't see anything up thread about raising the pay of the assistants and players.
If we want top-notch players and assistants, we're going to have to pay the going rate. And we're way down in revenue compared to Texas, Alabama, and OU.
Don't know where the money is gonna come from.
