If you are down by one just pull your goalie with 6 or 7 minutes left. I have never in my life seen a team so pathetically inept playing 5 on 6. I don’t know if it’s Monty’s arrogance or what, but this is clearly not changing anytime soon. It’s a thanksgiving miracle that Ottawa didn’t score tonight and with another minute I’m sure they would have.

Gee, how many teams could say that? I think a lot of short teams would love an extra minute. You just have to kill the time on the clock, no more.
