Love him or hate him……..that dude was not letting the puck in the net in those last two minutes! He got drilled in the head with a shot in that last minute or so, but fought thru that as well.

Should have been 1st star- he kept them in it again and he is not getting a lot of help. The Parayko effup was a bad bounce but the defensive zone giveaways are horrendous.

I think the only reason he did not get a star was because he let in 3, but nevermind the 14287 he stopped (an exaggeration for sure).

I agree with you two as well as Hotrivets. I thought he would/should be the 1st Star. I think they also gave it to Buchnevich to pump him up and they are aware of fans' frustrations...Try to get folks in a better frame of mind going forward.
And then I thought, I hope they don't give Kessel a Star because he scored the game-winner. At least he was there to make the play, but Holloway was the primary driver for that goal.
Good game, important come from behind in the third and finally held on.

I get that.
I wasn't able to pay deep attention as I was exhausted and watched it when I got home from work.

Here's the thing- who knows what the Captain said and did to keep his Team's collective heads up and positive, as they fought back from yet another lead they had blown?

I give plenty of slack to players who lay it on the line with burning desire and confidence.
Kyrou looked .. very good again,. If all Schenn did was give JK enough gumption to actually compete as a teammate is expected to... give him a star.

I admit I'm a super fan of Binny. I've been around forever, and not many goalies come around like him. I've even said before that they may as well give him a star every game, but I know it doesn't work like that. But if the guy guy was on one of the old dynasty teams, he'd most likely be be a big reason for it. Our Cup team wasn't a Cup team without Binny.

Of coarse it's all just my opinion, but sometimes I believe the thought is; well we can't just give a star to Binny all the time. I'll sleep with my opinion, but he doesn't get near the credit he deserves. Again, imagine him playing on a super good team. But at least we have him and get some excitement out of that fact. And you can't trade him for an entire Cup winning team. I guess I've made my point. Whew....I'm done.
