But, the message has to be we cannot get stuck in the mud. The resources must generate results. Or else. The offense this year was hard to watch and cost us games.
The offense was a downer this year. QB issues and a shaky o-line. QB is the biggest issue. It could be because the QB situation is why the O-line is shakey. Sam Horn hurt again.....
Lane Kiffin is going somewhere. I bet where goes will be a major headache and may not even win anything. He should stay put.
LSU, Penn State, Florida, Auburn to name a few do not realize that times have changed. Spending gobs of money on a coach does not necessarily win you championships. These schools are heading to the wayside with the likes of Nebraska. Remember Nebraska once was a national power.
I wonder if they are recalculating their offer to Lane…
Tough gig down there but I guess they can afford to churn these coaches.
Just this year, LSU, Penn St, Fla, Bama, others all down..
Teams can’t collect players they way they used to…no matter how much they pay the coach…

C'mon, he has accomplished fielding a passing offense that is the most boring and feckless since Larry Smith.

Not so fast. Auburn will give them everything they want. I’m not going to be surprised to see that upset happen.dugoutrex wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:39 pmBama is playoff bound!45s wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:34 pmIn a portal world…the blue bloods are not as blue as they used to be…..Armchair QB wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:16 pmLSU has been upside down on their last 2 coaches to the tune of $71 million in buyout. Bama is really good, but not what they were in prime Saban era. Mizzou almost beat Bama this year you’ll recall. We’re right there.

Yes….but they are not as dominant as years past…dugoutrex wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:39 pmBama is playoff bound!45s wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:34 pmIn a portal world…the blue bloods are not as blue as they used to be…..Armchair QB wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:16 pmLSU has been upside down on their last 2 coaches to the tune of $71 million in buyout. I think they are in based on reputation…
and probably t v ratings…

They beat #4 Georgia, #14 Vandy, and #17 Tennessee. Their only loss in the last 10 games has been #8 OU. Their down years are still pretty good.45s wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 14:21 pmYes….but they are not as dominant as years past…dugoutrex wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:39 pmBama is playoff bound!45s wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:34 pmIn a portal world…the blue bloods are not as blue as they used to be…..Armchair QB wrote: ↑27 Nov 2025 13:16 pmLSU has been upside down on their last 2 coaches to the tune of $71 million in buyout. Also, he's brought the fans back in droves. MU could give him a raise for that alone.
