Now ranked 7th in Cardinals Top 30 prospects list , MLB.com has Clarke's arrival in the majors at 2028 season. Makes sense as he was High A last year .
So this year and next in the minors moving up to AA and AAA .
This is part of Clarke's report :

Clarke throws harder than most lefty starters, sitting at 95-98 mph and reaching 100, though his fastball features more downhill plane than riding or running action. He has unveiled a devastating slider this season, with the pitch operating in the upper 80s and touching 91 mph with huge sweep as well as depth. He has relieved heavily on his heater and slide piece, rarely using an upper-70s curveball and an upper-80s changeup with some mild fade, both of which he struggles to land for strikes.

Hope Clarke can stay healthy. He definitely has the tools. I wonder how his potential stacks up to Doyle's.

Step 1.. Dealing with the blister situation so not a constant issue for him
2.. Repeating his delivery to obtain more consistenty resulting in better command. Has to pepper the strike zone at higher rate.
3.. Result of No. 2 reduce his walks while continuing high strkeout rate .. better than 1 /12 per inning '
4.. Mixing in his secondary pitches so he has a mix of 4 at least.. His devastating slider will be his bread and butter pitch followed by high velo fastball... getting the curve and change up decent will be important

Now the Cardinals just have to do everything they can to help him develop.

Seems like once you get a stockpile of pitching prospects that fit into a specific template (power pitchers with two plus pitches), you can then have a standardized coaching program that can find the right third pitch for each pitcher to learn (maybe between a change-up, or a splitter, or sinker each pitcher will find a certain pitch they can learn easiest).

It doesn't hurt to have your McGreevy's too. In his particular case, he certainly has the ability to become successful for what he is.
