This team goes full R word every time we get to OT

Post by ZouMiz2424 »

I don’t think I’ve ever watched such a pathetic and lazy Blues team in the last 20+ years

Why Kyrou is ever on the ice in OT is beyond me

Funny how the other teams can get the puck and keep it till they score but the Blues can barely complete 3 passes in OT.
This team is just awful.....

I’m just done with Monty and his team doing the same [shirt] every [fork]ing game. In my 30 years as a blues fan I’ve never been this down on a coach. Get his [shirt] the [fork] out of here.

I’ve stuck up for him most of the season, but he’s just going through the motions now. He is playing like he wants out and I think at this point Army should accommodate him.

we seem to have one guy trying to ram through their D; and they have three guys flying around making plays.

Montgomery is setting this team up to fail - he's the problem right now.

For those of you wanting to get rid of Monty, it’d be a perfect time to trade him for Berube because they both need a change of scenery

I think it is also the coaches like Ott and maybe others

Need a straight shooter like Chris Pronger who talks direct and realistic

Funny you brought this ZouMiz. I was just talking to a buddy of mine about this. I said I had season tix for several years, went down to a mini package a few years ago. But I make it a point to watch every minute of every game. Even if its 3 a.m. and watching the recording. For the first time in my life, I am not sure if I give a shirt about watching them the rest of the season. I mean it is just too painful to watch these guys disgrace the Blue Note that so many proud players have worn in the past. They may not always have been talented, but the one thing they all had in common was HEART and DESIRE! And I have never witnessed a Blues team with none of those qualities until now. I mean where is the push back? Do they know that checking is legal? 63 and 26 are about the only 2 I would give a pass on from these comments.

I

I can't believe that I'm starting to have this same mindset. We look soft and abysmal. It's beyond pathetic

This OP starts threads (usually Kyrou bashing) then disappears. Thomas lost the puck, I don’t even think Kyrou was on the ice anymore.

Last year's team was 11-12-1 with a 4-1 OT record at this point in the season, 24 games in. 0-7 in OT is atroctious! We should also be looking at how they end up in OT so often. There's a systemic issue in all areas. The coach needs to figure this out, or the GM needs to move/acquire someone at his request.

7-10-7 puts us at a 2 point slide from last season, which is not 5% better, and even the record 13 game win streak won't get you into the playoffs. The past two seasons the Blues have finished 5th in the division with 92 and 96 points. They got two coaches fired. There will be no more coaches. The core group should be on their way out and replaced.

I actually thought the team played pretty well last night, save the OT.

Blues must be the leagues #1 team with 1 goal losses.

Anyway, very depressing loss. Again. And I do put a fair amount on Monty for not getting this OT thing fixed but I remain behind him as the teams HC.

Mailloux had another good game both ends. All the point shots I have seen him make last 2 games were on net and pretty wicked.

Yea if there was any bright spot at all it’s that Mailloux once again was not a complete liability and contributed productively as well

Monty's not going anywhere with that 5 year contract. I agree with that. Time for the players to own up to the fact that they are the problem.
