When you combine how intensely they wanted to make fetch happen with the sequence of events that unfolded around this, anyone who didn't watch him down in Springfield is forced to interpolate how hilarious and I mean hilarious he looked in the AHL games that they missed

Based on recent events are you reading anything into this move?

It was a long shot that didn’t work out (likely) or the Blues have changed course (hopefully), maybe something else…

Nah, it was just that he couldn't keep up or affect the play, but he would try to get in little scrums at the end. I would have felt bad for him but he's incredibly unappealing so I enjoyed it instead since comic relief was needed somewhere in this mess

If I had to guess he's still hurt. Recovery time for old folks is longer. Not that it changes anything.

Just an unnecessary distraction. Never really understood why time and resources were spent on this to begin with. Time to move on and focus on reality.
