Binningtons value
Hockey Canada has added some goaltenders for consideration and concerns mount about goaltending for Canada. Binnington should make it, but when people are talking about Jake Allen you know things are bad for hockey Canada at that position.
Got me thinking about his value. It can’t be that high. Goaltenders typically don’t return a ton…he’s older…stats haven’t been good for years…limited market/demand. His value won’t improve a ton going forward.

T h e guys on Blues Digest says he is being linked to EDM which I could see. Altought I dont see to much there I like. I would say if we trade Binner we might as well trade , Schenn, Faulk, Buch, and Kryou and maybe even CP55.theograce wrote: ↑26 Nov 2025 12:47 pm Hockey Canada has added some goaltenders for consideration and concerns mount about goaltending for Canada. Skinner is either gangbusters or (bleep) - with no in between. The thing is, so is Binner.Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑26 Nov 2025 13:04 pmT h e guys on Blues Digest says he is being linked to EDM which I could see. Altought I dont see to much there I like. The difference is that Skinner seems to play worse under pressure, while Binner seems to save his best for high pressure.
If I were Edm, I'd probably rather fork over for Sara's. Though he hasn't exactly been a world beater this year.

Would that be a good enough return to land Kyle Connor McDavid Pastrnak?? - DEW IT!!Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑26 Nov 2025 13:04 pm I would say if we trade Binner we might as well trade , Schenn, Faulk, Buch, and Kryou and maybe even CP55.
Re: Binningtons value
Years and years of trade Binner talk.
Ya'll really think he's done?
I'll put my money on no way. He's worth more to the Blues than the market anyway.

That’s just because the oilers need goaltending. I’d like to keep Parayko to work with the younger players but yeah nobody is untouchable.Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑26 Nov 2025 13:04 pmT h e guys on Blues Digest says he is being linked to EDM which I could see. It’s a mess in n so many ways
Re: Binningtons value
What does Edmonton have that any team would want? Because if Binny is going there, I only see a 3-way trade being the best option.
I'm not for trading Binnington. But you never know.

Re: Binningtons value
Yeah that is my question as well. I am really uncertain what the Oilers have that we would be remotely interested in at this point

Re: Binningtons value
Edmonton would step up for Binnington.
They will make the PO and that is where they would really want/need him.
True as everyone stated what is the return. More than one Player involved on both sides?
Also Binnington maybe streaky/on off and not command a big return i really disagree.
How many goaltenders on the rumour mill/market right now have a Stanley Cup Ring?
Worth more to other Teams than the forum gives him credit for.

Re: Binningtons value
Love to see a top 6 forward coming back just don’t see the his value like you said. Maybe Faulk and Binner in a bigger deal……theograce wrote: ↑26 Nov 2025 12:47 pm Hockey Canada has added some goaltenders for consideration and concerns mount about goaltending for Canada.
