Has a private closed door meeting tomorrow with the board about his future.

I am told by people close to the situation that the Board of Curators and Coach Drinkwitz are getting very close to finalizing a deal. It could come by the end of the week.

He doesn't need an agent. We all know he's a great salesman. He gets great receivers to come to Missouri for his dink and dunk offense. That takes salesmanship. As far as game day coaching, well, he still has a lot to prove.

Double digit win seasons and hundreds of millions of dollars in facility improvements and getting the program back on the map doesn't go as far as it used too.

Yeah, and hopefully all that gets us to 4-4 in SEC this weekend w/o having beaten anyone with a winning record.

Oh, well, I guess I'm going to have to side with the folks who say Mizzou isn't getting any coach who's better. They may be right. I thought expectations and the bar would be raised by now for Drinkwitz, but he still has not scored a signature win in 6 years. Just gotta hope for the best going forward, but this offense is absolutely awful and boring, and it cost the program a CFP berth. And STs still stink. What a colossal waste of an elite defense. And with the schedule getting tougher next year and losing a bunch on D...

Contract finalization being reported by multiple sources now. I am glad Drink stays. Too much positive momentum over several years to give up now. We are not far away compared to 6 years ago. I sense some major donor news soon as well.

My question is why extend him again, and probably raise his pay and buyout into top 10 level again? Missouri is bidding against itself. I just don't get it. Nobody's going to poach a guy who can't win a big game.
