It’s nice to see. I’m sure he feels a ton of pressure right now.

It wasn’t long ago that he publicly acknowledged feeling like he has failed the organization.

This stuff adds pressure.

So Army has been playing with a baseball bat this whole time. Guy doesn't even know what sport this is.

Trade rumors aren’t a surprise with any underachieving team but the fact that this is Army’s final season as a GM makes me think a bold/surprising trade or 2 can happen at any time.

It won’t be a re-tool type trade for futures either, Army doesn’t want to go out like that unless it’s close to the deadline and the Blues are clearly out of the race

Faulk and Schenn to Ott for Carter Yak, Pinto, +, and maybe Perron to make cap work.

Would be amazing if Army's last move would be to acquire Perron one last time!!

Now that the Cardinals front office has officially signaled to fans the rebuild is in effect maybe that is empowering Army to follow suit given the current season outlook and team needs.

"wouldn’t surprise anyone if he does something of significance in the days ahead"

Pointless. Does Dreger post that weekly?

Dreger channeling eklund. Yeah, armey dealing when his assets are at their lowest value. If this season is lost, makes no sense not to wait until circa the deadline to max return. Malpractice otherwise.

Will you at least ask Ottawa to bend over first? I think Faulk + Schenn for just Yakemchuk would be a good deal

Dreger has nothing specific this is Armstrong track record plus team crisis. Dreger knows the same things we do this is simply a logical guess.

He is in a real vulnerable position for trades. The only reasonable direction he can go is amassing more firsts because their own first is the fourth pick (we're totally going to lose the RW tiebreaker to anybody we tie). The problem I don't know who we're selling that's going to get a first who we want to sell. Parayko and Binnington are the ones who come to mind, and maybe that chapter of the Blues is about to be over sooner than we think.
