Re: GDT: Blues at Rags 6:00 FanDuel
This goes back to Chief and his dopey quality over quantity shooting philosophy. They overadjusted and They’ve never overcome it. They pass up at least 5 shots/game from prime scoring areas. If there was a stat for passed up shots in the slot they’d lead the league by plenty.

When they scored the third goal I had a feeling that it was over. The last time they scored more than 3 goals and won was Oct 13. It's been mentioned multiple times that this team is very hard to watch and I agree 100%.
Re: GDT: Blues at Rags 6:00 FanDuel
This has been beat to death. The Blues had a 109-point team that lost to the eventual Stanley Cup Champions AFTER Pietrangelo was gone. That team wasn't as good defensively as the Cup team but it was far better offensively and in total points.ratonmono2 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 20:46 pmYeah, he's botched a cup winning team in record time. The big domino of course was letting the Petro thing get out of hand. That closed the window but he kept trying to squeeze a competitive team out of one lacking it's anchor. Now look at this nonsense. Yuck.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 20:41 pmFrom cup winner to rebuild in 5 years. Army so truly botched this that ive done a basic 180 on how I view him as a GM

Past 18 games
3-9-6 … something like that
They’ve won 1 game by more than 1 goal (Buffalo) in their past 18 lol

Dvorsky watch: Another game with no offensive stat line, no SOG, despite 2:51 of PP time. Young man needs to play at both ends of the ice.

And that team was stomped by Colorado, caved in because they had a joke of a D corps by then. The 2022 Blues were by no means a cup contender. It's not been beaten hard enough if we are still missing that Armstrong screwed the pooch on Petro, he even admits he did. I mean who lets a cup winning captain and franchise D walk for nothing? You won't find a single GM in the last 30 years that's made such a dumb move with a franchise cornerstone.DawgDad wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 20:51 pmThis has been beat to death. Armstrong disrespected THAT guy publicly lol
Re: GDT: Blues at Rags 6:00 FanDuel
In my view Pietrangelo disrespected the Blues at least as much as they disrespected him (if at all). He walked. At his compensation level it bordered on pure greed.theograce wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 21:09 pmHe led the entire NHL is assists and scored the Cup goal.ratonmono2 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 21:04 pmAnd that team was stomped by Colorado, caved in because they had a joke of a D corps by then. Re: GDT: Blues at Rags 6:00 FanDuel
Armstrong thinks about him every time he walks by Hull and Chopper. It’s the biggest professional regret of his life.
Good…it should be lol

Russdv14 send the link to me in a P.M.. I don't understand a lick of Russian but it cannot being any worse than listening to these guys!Russdv14 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 19:51 pm Well, I got home and had listened to the first period and a half on Internet radio and then when I get home I tried on hockey.tv since I don’t have the NHL network and I discovered a great link. It’s the Russian link and there’s a Russian commentator in the fore ground and then I hear the New York broadcast in the background.
I got on my big desktop computer and this Russian commentator makes as much sense as Joey-LOL
I said that for the benefit of you guys here on Blues Talk -lol

They can’t help themselves! You really think your leading scorer should be playing 12 min a night on a team that’s 27th in the league in scoring? LolHarry York 37 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025 15:56 pmDo you think you are a better judge of performance than Chief?
How about Monty?
We are Kyrou “realists”.
We are not blind to his soul-killing faults as many are.
Don't ask me-
ask Chief.
ask Monty.
Ask Eddie Olzyck, who was as disgusted as myself and Minnesota, and all intelligent fans of the sport of ice hockey were about Kyrou's play in game seven.
You like shiny and flashy things I reckon.
Even if they are made of tin.
Especially their hearts.
If you can't see Kyrou quitting on plays... there is little hope for you. Kyrou has played better since he got his 8 plus million dollar a season asz scratched.
But he has much work to do to be "dependable".
he may still have a decent season., but he shortchanges himself, the team, and the fans.
Its weird being mad at your leading goal scorer…. For scoring the most goals on your team every season….. with (bleep) ice time. We get your heart broken. The comparison was what stats would kyrou put up with buch’s ice time.
Imagine getting so excited to hate on the only “core” player that has to pay a penalty. Do you see any of the core being held accountable other than a shift of two?
I am angry at the guy who, after we won the opening face off to start the third period, seemed to have some sort of seizure as soon as he crossed their blue line as three opponents appeared to be ganging up on him. So, he threw the puck away. He was safe.
They took it into our zone and scored the goal that revealed the compete of the St. Louis Blues at the start of the third in a close, close game.
That guy.

And what, in the name of Zeus’s butthole, does Buch sucking have to do with Kyrou turning over the puck without a whimper which creates a black-hole level of suckage in confidence. Hence the fast goal against. Kyrou skated little after that. Until we fell behind by two, late. He was on the ice for that third GA as well.
That guy.
If you don’t disagree… agree.
Don’t post Buchnevich stats. His problems are not insane ones.
Yet.
