Eh, the Mailloux benching is meh mostly because if there was forward support then that shift also doesn't happen. He made a bad pass early that caused it to go into the minute-long timeframe, but a forward staying back to get one D off is what every other team in the league does, yet we had Thomas going for a change with 90 seconds less time on ice. Lack of forward support and moving the feet from the guys coming on were the real reason.

We were not using Snuggerud or Mailloux to end the 2nd period either way. Both guilty of turnovers that led to extended zone times though usually Snuggy gets some leeway.

Well, I got home and had listened to the first period and a half on Internet radio and then when I get home I tried on hockey.tv since I don’t have the NHL network and I discovered a great link. It’s the Russian link and there’s a Russian commentator in the fore ground and then I hear the New York broadcast in the background.
I got on my big desktop computer and this Russian commentator makes as much sense as Joey-LOL

A goal with 40 seconds in wow. And then Holloway & Kyrou and Suter line could not win any puck battles and get the puck out of the zone. Next shift wasn’t too bad . Looks like they’ve changed lines Buch up again with Thomas who went one on four in the Rangers zone
