I don't think Broberg is necessarily going to be a Franchise Player but more likely one of your key Building Blocks for the future. Which to me would mean 4-6 key players to form the foundation of your team and then adding other components to complement those players.
This seems like the most logical and rational approach to take with Broberg.
He is definitely a top 4 D-man at worst and at some point probably a top pairing guy....

He clearly isn't too as a offensive or a defensive defender. But almost like Petro he is a pretty good all around defender and he still has some growing to do. I don't know that we have the right leaders on ice to guide him. But I see him as a Petro lite soon enough.
I just don't think he stays long enough.
