Hate to say it but my answer is NO.

We barely made it last year and it took a record winning streak to do it. Plus it took a tie-breaker vs. Calgary to qualify. That’s not exactly a compelling performance.

I’ll admit that I was optimistic starting this season that we could get into the dance again this year, but I was fooled by last year’s streak and blinded by my 57 years of being a fan.

Frankly, we have the same leftover parts from last year who barely made it, and not enough new parts to tip the scale. It will take more infusion from the youth movement and maybe some trades to get this squad into the postseason.

That’s my $0.02 worth. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Blues are 8 points out of 3rd in Central at nearly the quarter year. Lot's of doom and gloom around here, I get it and agree with a lot of it, but I remain curious on what more of the board is thinking than the vocal 'gloomers.

We all have our reasons BUT....If you can..... a simple yes or no.

Will the Blues make the play offs this year?

For me it remains YES.

Yes. Both goalies looked a lot better the past couple of games. If they get back to what they are capable of being, the confidence factor will spread.
