MU HC job search

Post by hdhntr148 »

now that Eli has destroyed all his cred with fanbase how would MU job be perceived? He did great job of building facilities and cred with BOC, good AD in place and solid young talent at certain positions. too many openings with better programs to get anyone established but lots of next level HC's who have done great work and want an SEC job. Top coordinators looking to get that HC opportunity to make a name for themselves.

Of course there would be chaos across roster and HS commits but that's just part of the deal. Could be worth it to get a guy who isn't such a Putz and afraid of his own shadow or taking the chances neccessary to beat Big Brands and much better coaches.

But here's the thing a Yutz like him is unlikely to leave the great thing he has going and doubtful any of the top jobs would even consider him. Right now it's all just internet nonsense. All he has to do really is make very public firing of totally incompetent Kirby Moore and Perp walk him out of building on camera with a box of personal belongings and lot of good will would return. But fans NEED to have the hope that their next season would come crashing to an end by first weeks of november.

With way new SEC schedule will be and fixed schedule with much better teams to play they won't have the easiest schedules like they had last two years. Would most likely regress back to 7 or 8 win seasons IF he was lucky. Press conferences explaining yet another inexplicable loss to a top team they Could have beat but simply refused to because he was just too cowardly.

The first sentence by the OP is totally inaccurate.

Drink has plenty of cred with the fan base.

The vocal minority on this forum is not part of the fan base.
