According to SportTrac he made 16 mil last year. 25 Mil for Arb 4? He had a 4 bWAR season with some nice aggregates. AS appearance and some nice hitting IoT's. Hard hit %, Barrels an Average Exit Velo. I would assume similar numbers this year.
60 xtra base hits with 31 swipes.
How much is Aroz looking to make Arb 4?

Disregard that table tripped me up, 11.2 last year with a projection of 18. That sounds about right..... Not a bad pay day for your final arb year.
I'm thinking that's a little on the low side if he made 16 mil last year.MLB Trade Rumors has used an algorithm for more than a decade to project arbitration salaries as a tool to understand what a given team is looking at versus the salary cap. Its projection for Arozarena is $18.2 million.
Arozarena at this point would seem to be worth every penny.
He's such an energetic leader for the Mariners, who won their first division title since 2021.
This season, Arozarena batted .238 with a .760 OPS. He had 32 doubles, 27 homers and 31 steals.

Every time I think of Arozarena I’m reminded of the idiotic tool that was John Mozeliak.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑23 Nov 2025 09:54 am https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/player/_/id ... -arozarena

Arozarena - solid consistent MLB performer shows no sign of slowing down.
O’Neill - traded for nothing
Carlson - traded for a guy we literally DFA’d 2 weeks after the trade.
Bader - traded for about 1 full year of Montgomery.
Anybody who still “thinks” we will ever win the Arozarena trade is living in fantasyland.
I don’t hate Liberatore, it’s not his fault that Mozeliak was such a fool.

My best guess Alex would be somewhere in the $18-20M range.

If Bader and O'Neill were complete STUDS in 2019, then I would give MO a little more of a pass.Bomber1 wrote: ↑23 Nov 2025 10:14 amEvery time I think of Arozarena I’m reminded of the idiotic tool that was John Mozeliak.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑23 Nov 2025 09:54 am https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/player/_/id ... -arozarena

BUT, Bader and O'Neill didn't have good 2019 seasons (and ironically, it totally foreshadowed their careers). Couple that with the decision not to sign Ozuna, it made little sense to trade an MLB-ready OFer who led your org in hitting.
I've been saying this for 5 years. The Libby chirpers are no longer chirping.
