Perron
First off great seeing him play 14-15 mins at pushing 38 years old.
I watched a bit of the Sens game and what was cool was his energy and celebrations/congratulations. Such a hockey guy. So much passion.
I miss this vibe so much. He would drag you into a fight one way or another.
The blues lack skill … and higher end players who can or will lead/drag.

Re: Perron
He was exactly the guy to go to war with! He was like a burr in the saddle for the other team. We lack that will to win for sure.

Re: Perron
I dont know if he would ever look to get behind the bench as a assistant after his playing days. He just seems like he has more to give the game. Class act

Re: Perron
One of my favorite players.
He was productive and one of the few players with the skill set to make plays without needing a lot of space.
We don't have one player on this roster with that kind of skill and its glaring.

Re: Perron
DP57 easily one of my favorites Blues. That dude was skilled and also loved to stir some [shirt]. Great player

I could see him getting involved with a QMJHL team.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 17:07 pm I dont know if he would ever look to get behind the bench as a assistant after his playing days. He just seems like he has more to give the game. Class act

Re: Perron
Skilled player who just flat out loves to play hockey. One of my favorite all time Blues. Still hard to believe we let him go 3 times. A head scratcher for sure.
Re: Perron
For context, Blues "signed him" three times, drafted once and FA twice.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 18:24 pm Skilled player who just flat out loves to play hockey. One of my favorite all time Blues. Still hard to believe we let him go 3 times. A head scratcher for sure.
Traded, before free-agent status in a non-playoff year for pick that became Barbashev.
Subsequently, Oilers traded him, Penguins traded him, picked by Vegas in expansion.
Later he signed contracts with DeadWings and Senators.

Re: Perron
True, but to me, that is still letting him go or losing him. It’s semantics, but we still chose to lose/expose him 3 times.blues2112 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 18:38 pmFor context, Blues "signed him" three times, drafted once and FA twice.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 18:24 pm Skilled player who just flat out loves to play hockey. - drafted him and subsequently signed to a couple contracts
- traded to EDM (lost him #1)
- signed him as UFA again in 2016
- picked by VGK in expansion in 2017 (lost him #2)
- Signed him as UFA again in 2018 and won cup
- Let him walk as UFA in 2022 (lost him #3)

And, I dig Perron, post white skates rookie year.
(Coach Andy was less than impressed.)

Quit responding to the OP people. He doesn’t care about Perron. He’s trolling the Blues.

Re: Perron
The Blues lost my loyalty when they treated DP57 like that. He clearly loved St Louis and seemed to be a big fan favorite.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 18:54 pmTrue, but to me, that is still letting him go or losing him. Re: Perron
Same here Plags. It is just a shame he didn't spend 20 years here and retire a Blue. And I think if he was asked, he would say so too. He was a throw back somewhat like your moniker.
