Missouri 27 Sooners 24
RUN THE EFFING BALL KIRBY.
Missouri plays their best game of the year in spite of him.

Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
If we were healthy at QB and 100%, I’d say we’d win 26-23.
Given Zollers has been shaky as a true freshman and OU D Line is legit plus Norman is a tough place to play, I don’t feel good about it. If Pribula plays but is gimpy, it could be worse because his legs won’t bail us out.
Afraid it’ll be more like OU 31 Mizzou 17. REALLY hope I’m wrong.

Tigers D takes charge in this after OU's big win last week. Offense plays conservative but takes care of the ball.

RMN's preview wasn't too optimistic. OU D-line is excellent especially against the run. Fortunately, Mateer hasn't lived up to his hype. Hopefully our D can keep the score close enough to eke out a victory.

My heart says Mizzou, but I can't see us pulling this one off. Sooner 27, Tigers 10.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 08:05 am RMN's preview wasn't too optimistic. Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
I'd like to see both Roberts and Hardy in the backfield at the same time. Fake a run to one, pass screen to the other. Rather see that kind of run vs a jet sweep by a WR. OU's D would have to keep track of both runners, and both are capable of breaking a long one with each run attempt or pass reception.
Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
I've been a proponent of that duo backfield as well.happynotlucky wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 11:30 am I'd like to see both Roberts and Hardy in the backfield at the same time. Mind boggling it's not a staple.

If it's close keep a sharp eye on the boys in the striped shirts. Handy to call tripping, DPI, unsportsmanlike and targeting to help a team out if called for.

I agree. Those 2 weapons and they’re never on the field at the same time. The way Roberts catches the ball you’d think they could dream up some nightmare scenarios for a defense.

Yep Roberts and space go hand in hand.Armchair QB wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 13:34 pmdhsux wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 12:09 pmI've been a proponent of that duo backfield as well.happynotlucky wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 11:30 am I'd like to see both Roberts and Hardy in the backfield at the same time. To say nothing of run blocking for each other.
This is not rocket science either.
Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
Anyway some might say it's too late but what a win it would be to knock off the Sooners!

Oklahoma 35
Mizzou 17
I hope I am wrong.
I think starting Pribula is a bad idea
Let Matt start and see how he does. if it is a disaster, bring Pribula in!
I say run the ball with Hardy and Roberts! Great idea to have a Duo.

Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
There is almost zero imagination right now on offense from Moore/Drinkwitz. And none of us know how much Drinkwitz is influencing the play calling.Armchair QB wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 13:34 pmdhsux wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 12:09 pmI've been a proponent of that duo backfield as well.happynotlucky wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 11:30 am I'd like to see both Roberts and Hardy in the backfield at the same time. Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
Conversely, if Pribula stinks it up, pull him and put Zollers in. If Saban could pull Hurts in a title game for Tua, Drinkwitz could pull Pribula for Zollers.straight out of st louis robert ave wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 18:06 pm Oklahoma 35

Re: Sooners-Tigers Prediction Thread
Agree. We have IMO the best RB room in the country. Yet, we never leverage all that talent on the field at the same time. Roberts is a stud, but he is so limited in opportunities. Some creativity from Moore could really put defenses in a bind and frankly help offset our OLine deficiencies to a degree. Maybe open up the passing game.icon wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 18:46 pmThere is almost zero imagination right now on offense from Moore/Drinkwitz.
