Mack not a wild man tonight and driving under control. Good to see. But his man is blowing right by him too often on D.

Not impressed with the D as usual except for forcing TOs.
Mack is going to be one of those guys who is on fire or stinking it up.
In my opinion, Mack plays out of control and his outside shot is horrible.
He is a feast or famine type player.
Let's see what he can do against SEC competition.

They crack the "it doesn't really matter" 100 point barrier tonight.

And I have no idea why he is still out there with a 30+ point lead.

Good to see Phillips working underneath for the rebounds.

I'm assuming Gates pretty much stole Stone who said he was going back to Australia? Not getting that whole story but what a great pickup for Missouri.

Speaking of "whole story" what's the story on the bench sitters? Boateng came back last night & looked good. What had kept him out? What is keeping Pierce on the bench? Why is Phillips sick again? What kind of sickness? I believe Burns had foot surgery. Any idea of when he'll be cleared to play? I keep hearing how we're one of the tallest teams, but although height is quite useful in b-ball it doesn't help all that much on the bench.

MM does too many drives right into defenders instead of passing to open guys in corner but overall playing good game and rebounding well. Porters best game easily where he is defending, rebounding and scoring not only layin's but couple mid range jumpers thrown in has a nice stroke and can hit FT's. Stone and Crews give you nice minutes both are rebounding, playing D and hitting their treys at good clip.

Mu has a ton of weapons offensively this year. one area of weakness is every cupcake opponent is hitting 3's at a much higher rate than usual against them. That's going to hurt them in conference play.

Games against ND and KU will be telling as far as how good this team will be. Nice that in these pay games they are getting a lot of players PT.

agree Mack nor MM has any kind of outside shot but then they don't need to. Have guys for that role including Porter and North?

Porter is starting to look like what a lot of us hoped Pierce would be. A threat from the perimeter and in the paint who can also rebound and play defense. He has some serious athleticism and agility. We shall see how it translates against better opponents.

Marv, supposedly Boateng was out with a knee problem, Pierce with a hip, Burns initially had a time table of returning in eight weeks. Eight weeks puts us into December sometime, but who really knows for sure. They have been rather vague about the "injury" situation so we have to take them at their word.

The Phillips situation is a bit more intriguing, who really knows what "illness" means. The last time he was out with an illness he was on the bench, that's weird to me. At least last night he wasn't on the bench spreading his "illness" to others on the team. I suspect there's more to it then we are being told about Phillips, it could be many things, we may never know for sure. Luckily, we are deep and we are playing cupcakes, let's hope all this is taken care of soon.

My own bad...I was reading the wrong box score on the Phillips comment.
