On that question, the answer is clear: there is no “rumor” of anything contained in the article—it is merely the author’s open-ended trade speculation. I never said it “couldn’t” be posted (your words), I simply suggested it be titled in a way that isn’t misleading. If that “negates” anything, it is simply the materially inaccurate (and I suspect entirely inadvertent/mistaken) use of the word “rumor” in the thread title.
Most importantly, IMO, the most important, we
are good here.
I'll never let a difference in opinions on an opinion board become more than that.

Rumor can be totally baseless, while speculation is supposed to have some sliver of substance. If you see that as my definition, you need not have to agree, then maybe you may see why there is a difference in opinion of whether this thread met the threshold.

Besides it's hot stove. The only facts are Ward went to Baltimore in a trade. Unsure if there were rumors or speculation. It does provide fuel for the stove.

The Giants farm system is so bad that they didn't make a single move to protect anyone from the Rule 5 draft. They had top 30 prospects and 3 former first round picks and protected no one. That's how bad their system is.
