Who were Sid and Wayne's line mates? Having a Will Smith on your line is pretty ideal.
It doesn’t always work like that. Perron played with Crosby and just couldn’t make it work. These guys are getting minutes/opportunities that nobody their age ever gets. Don’t get me wrong … they deserve it and all the credit in the world.
Need to remember when guys like Crosby came in the league … it was a different league. You could jump on someone’s back and play horsey. Jamie Benn won the Art Ross with 80 something points not long ago.

The Blues needed Kyrou to be a star but he's stuck on being jag.
Now they are hoping Holloway can turn into that guy but it's not looking good.
The Blues need Thomas to be a star more than Kyrou

Why does st louis put so much emphasis on not bringing young players into a losing environment because it breeds negativity? It seems for Chicago and sj it has helped develop a hunger.
#1 Reason
Our young players do not bring elite skill. They bring average talent or worse. So when you bring in St Louis prospects, you lose worse.
Mailloux is a perfect example of St Louis young talent.
