Wow. Might be one of the best tv show premieres I’ve ever seen. Production value is just as good as the films. Dark. Some good acting from the kids too.

Didn't have high expectations for this show but I am really enjoying it so far. Agree that the production value, visual effects, and cast have been superb. Chris Chalk is nailing it as the young(er) Dick Hallorann. The opening scene from episode 1 and the scene with the girl in the grocery store were incredibly tense. Perhaps the best tv adaptation of a Stephen King novel (sorry, Tim Curry).
