Sure Mariner fans are thrilled they retained Josh Naylor on a 5-yr. deal ... He is age 28 and will be 29 next June 22nd
So 2026 is his age 29 season and his 4th year on the deal he will be age 32. Wondering how he will be playing at ages 32 & 33 for his $18.4 M per year.
Wonder if Seattle fans will deal with a NTC issue like a team we know well.

Naylor is a talented player, and the Gusrdians admittedly made a mistake in trading him last year. I for one am not concerned about a contract that expires when the player is still in his young30s. Is the 34-35 and over age that is a concern

Good deal. 33 in final year of the contract and not outrageous. Good for both player and ownership.
