I still think the goals against is a team issue but the goalie stats are pretty dismal.

Honestly, I'm going to watch tonight mainly to see him play......on the slight chance that they get desperate at some point and would be willing to trade him.
Re: GDT: Blues at Leafs 6:00 FanDuel
Reflecting on where the Blues are at in the big picture, I went through the lineup and assigned each player a +, 0, or - based on potential to add more value in the future (big picture). I see 4-5 pluses (upside potential), 3-5 minuses, and the rest zeros (they will likely remain the player they are for a few more seasons). My four pluses are:hotrivets wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025 11:50 am $48 mil on the third line. NHL is really rarefied.

Now, many of the rest are currently underperforming; for example, I rate Thomas and Kyrou at zero (aside from a current slump they pretty much have shown what they will become). A case can be made all of the pluses are currently underperforming what we should be seeing from them. All of them, though I lean to giving Snuggerud a pass.
Re: GDT: Blues at Leafs 6:00 FanDuel
Do fans actually watch Brayden Schenn play offensively? Is he given a free pass because he sometimes plays "physical" and is the Captain? He's been just as awful as Buchnevich all year and he has 19 shots on goal...in 19 games. 1 shot per game on goal in the top 6. I'm not even sure if Schenn is 3rd line worthy anymore, I think he should be parked on the 4th line.

Schenn-Bjugstad/Sunny-Walker
Seems fairly straight forward when Neighbours comes back IMO.

The timely save at the beginning of games isn't happening. It does appear both goalies are playing better, but they are playing better as the games progress.hotrivets wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025 12:03 pm I still think the goals against is a team issue but the goalie stats are pretty dismal.

Not being able to beat this current Leaf team would be another step in the wrong direction...

Didn’t realize how beat up the Leafs are right now. If the Blues can’t beat these guys with all their injuries…..well, let’s just say they’re cooked.

I don't see any point running out a line of Joseph-Dvorsky-Buchnevich at ES. Just park them all on the bench. EDIT: Between the three of them they have ONE ES goal this season.

I know thomas is a playmaker but 1.5 shots oer game for career. He has 22 shots in 15 games. At some point he needs to shoot the puck.Ace wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025 14:42 pm Do fans actually watch Brayden Schenn play offensively? This will be the game we win outright. On the road against a team with half their lineup out. From their perspective they have their coach's former team coming to play their ravished lineup with desperation setting in.
Whatever happens, I think it will be a good contest. No Sammy

For a #1 C Thomas doesn't shoot anywhere near enough. He should have 5 shots a game at least.
