He has definitely always been a great athlete and looks like his skills have went up a notch.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 20:42 pm Crews looks like a different player this year, hope he keeps it up.

thanks! glad to hear he seems to be healthy. in the preseason he looked great. hope to see him on the floor soon.Armchair QB wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 21:05 pmNot really, beyond the lower body thing with Pierce like a month ago.boulanger wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 20:52 pmI haven't been on the forum much the past days: has it ever been specified what injuries (other than "lower body") boateng and pierce have?Armchair QB wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 19:49 pm Taking care of business. Mostly all good.
Good half for Porter. Good to see more effort from him. Still don’t think he’s a starter. His effort really comes and goes.
Mack IMO is a sub. Energy guy, come in and hopefully he makes things happen. But if he’s out of control sit him back on the bench. Stone is WAY better.
If Boateng and Pierce ever get eligible, er, healthy they’re both capable of starting so it’ll be fascinating how all this depth is figured by Gates.
and when they are expected to return?
I didn’t get to go tonight but apparently Boateng was putting on a show throwing down dunks in warmups so I seriously doubt he’s hurt. Has to be grades, or some team policy he’s out of sorts with. He seems like a really good kid so no idea what is going on there.

Wow, what a difference in halves! First half looked like we had a plan & executed it. Second half we thought we were the Globetrotters especially T.O. Unfortunately, PV didn't play the Generals role. How many open looks did we allow? Teams are going to exploit us if we don't guard the 3-point line. Also, we are going to lose some close games due to FT misses.
FT's: Mizzou 68%, which is better than past games, but not good. PV: 87%

Yeah, FTs are boring, but the bench is even more boring. If you can’t make your FTs, then maybe you should sit on the bench, especially when the game is on the line and everyone knows you’ll get fouled. FTs are a matter of technique and concentration. Some of these guys have an awful technique. How do they get this far and yet shoot FTs like they are shooting with the opposite hand?MizzouMarv wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025 08:31 am Wow, what a difference in halves! Re: PV A&M Game Day
My brother and I was at the game.
1. I'm old school, guess they don't call traveling anymore. Mitchell, TO, Mack, obvious, but never called.
2. Too many times Mack, Philips and TO would penetrate into the lane and just look ugly.
3. I can assume that Rowe is being held out academically as there is no reason he hasn't played any unless they just plan to redshirt him.
4. Stone is really impressing me with his passing and smart play. Not forcing shots, getting rebounds, assists - hope he stays healthy all year.
5. When Pierce and Botang start playing, guessing Norweather loses the most minutes (for Porter), along with a few from Porter, Mitchell and Phillips. As for Botang, Mack? Certainly wouldn't cut Crews and Stone's.

Mack seems more intent on being a hot dog throwing up wild shots off the glass and hoping they go in instead of actually trying to put the ball into the hoop.
