Taking care of business. Mostly all good.

Good half for Porter. Good to see more effort from him. Still don’t think he’s a starter. His effort really comes and goes.

Mack IMO is a sub. Energy guy, come in and hopefully he makes things happen. But if he’s out of control sit him back on the bench. Stone is WAY better.

If Boateng and Pierce ever get eligible, er, healthy they’re both capable of starting so it’ll be fascinating how all this depth is figured by Gates.

A bit off topic, but that arena is pretty empty. When they know attendance is going to be that abysmal why don't they let the locals in for a buck or two on game night?

Don’t get me started. They should have students surrounding the court and bus them in for free, especially games like this. The paying customers have a tough time making games like this.

They’ve taken a stupid system for student tickets in the past and made it worse this year with the whole under the basket seat thing. Very, very stupid to not engage students around the court in a big way, aka Duke, but we never learn.

I think Phillips got a lecture about bringing the ball down. Took that pass, kept it high and finished.

He seems to have a short attention span. Not impressed with his play.

Crews on fire again. 18 points and 4-5 from 3. 7 boards. Off the bench. This team has the depth to wear other teams down in the 2nd half.

I haven't been on the forum much the past days: has it ever been specified what injuries (other than "lower body") boateng and pierce have?
and when they are expected to return?

Not thrilled with TO’s motor and ball security down the stretch. You’d like to see a PG trying to earn more minutes doing his job and not playing half speed. I’d bet the farm Gates agrees with me.

Some other guys have really stepped it up. Crews is all of a sudden rebounding and playing a little D, on top of being a good shooter which we already knew.

Didn’t like the D in the 2nd half AT ALL, but everything considered it was a pretty good night mainly offensively.

Not really, beyond the lower body thing with Pierce like a month ago.

I didn’t get to go tonight but apparently Boateng was putting on a show throwing down dunks in warmups so I seriously doubt he’s hurt. Has to be grades, or some team policy he’s out of sorts with. He seems like a really good kid so no idea what is going on there.
