Army can't make a trade now without being ripped off
Those of you looking for a quick fix to this mess prepare to have your hopes dashed. No GM is going to pay anything decent for the pile of manure on this team right now...so no point in even attempting a trade.

You're right - he's only going to get picks and prospects from teams that want to win now. The picks will be high and they better do homework on prospects.

I'll happily be ripped off if someone takes Buch off our hands. 6th rounder and a B prospect....Sold!!!

Army puts value on things that don't have much. Like fourth liners, and vet leadership. That's why he always get took to the woodshed.
With Steen being a gm in training by Army. I don't know if I can trust his ability to make good decisions I just hope he know a little more about value around the league, instead of value to him.
I also think we should get our management situation fixed before we move off players.

Well then the good news is it makes no sense to make deals like that right now anyway. Much more value to be had near the deadline, for multiple reasons.
So maybe by then some of these guys will have reverted to their more "normal" levels of production and it'll be a little more reasonable to get some value back.

Eventually to be good again th Blues going to need someone in the GM position who can evaluate talent. He's nowhere near the best in the league at that. Decent executive, has mediocre concept of what makes a cornerstone to a hockey team

It’s a dated idea more than anything. Along with a lot of people in the organization.seattleblue wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 10:00 am Eventually to be good again th Blues going to need someone in the GM position who can evaluate talent.
