Last year, they seemed like a close knit band of brothers. The structure and support all over the ice is completely gone.

Since the 1st period of the 1st game, we haven't seen that structure and support. Even with losing veterans over the off season, these guys are playing like they genuinely dislike each other. We look like the 2014-2015 Buffalo Sabres out there.

WTH happened?

Between the lackluster play on the ice along w the broadcasting team of Kerbs and Vitale, this product is not only not entertaining but trends towards brutally boring.

Brutal game last night! For a team that is trying to focus on strong defensive play, there was no checking or physical play to separate the man from the puck. Soft defensive play leads to extended offensive zone possession. They should probably waive Kessel and bring up Rosen and play him and rotate Tucker and Skinner.

Also I hope they put Dvorsky back between Halloway and Kyrou. He has better hockey IQ than Schenn and is probably better at faceoffs and defensively than him at this point.

My biggest disappointment this year is with Monty. He said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing, and they have wasted a fourth of the season doing the same thing. Over playing the top 4D and shortening the bench when they have a lead etc..

The comment itself was not understanding the difference between "one of" and "only," something literal five year old children could understand.

I usually don't get this detailed but, in my opinion, at least last night our passes weren't quick enough. Waiting too long to pass which seems to indicate that our boys have to wait to figure out if our other player is in posisition to recieve. We're lacking that quick off the stick hard, fast pass. Accuracy usually comes with confidence because of repetition. Another thing is that, I'd love for our boys to at least make the other team know that they were in a hockey game. Ya gotta do some painful stuff and make them hurt every now and then. There are other things happening or not happening too for sure. As I said, it's just my opinion about a couple of them.
