This team is lacking in something (coaching, confidence, chemistry?) in addition to elite talent and solid fundamentals.

It’s called goaltending. The elephant in the room no one wants to talk about. .860 SP isn’t good enough.

That was def a prob early into the season but both goalies are making saves now. They both got off to such bad starts it will take finishing strong just to get those save % respectable.

While I do believe bad goaltending can become a team wide mental issue I’m not ready to go there yet.

Maybe instead of looking for a smoking gun the reality could be the team is plagued by 6-7 medium sized problems all happening at simultaneously.
