I didn't get to see the game. Just looked at the game stats. Mizzou with all of two offensive rebounds. TWO. That's hard to believe.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 23:34 pm Rebounded a little better in the 2nd half. Minnie out rebounded us by 8. Looked like it was going to be 20+.
Like to see Mack in a one-on-one contest. Problem is he has 4 teammates on the court. He's a "scorer", but when you're one on five you might want to pass the ball every once in a while. Somebody is probably open.

You skipped the most important stats searching for something negative. The ESPN box score has OREB listed ninth.
First was points with 83 (51 in 2nd half). Then the shooting with Mizzou at 59% overall and 50% from three. And 14-20 FT. Even the 7 steals is listed before OREB.
So, that adds up to not a lot of opportunities for offensive rebounds

If we’re going to be special this year. We’re going to have to hit the boards better than we have been.winonsports wrote: ↑13 Nov 2025 09:54 amYou skipped the most important stats searching for something negative. The ESPN box score has OREB listed ninth.

But point taken, we’ve been really good in most other aspects. We even defended the 3 point line better last night after the 1st 10-15 minutes or so. So hopefully we’ll figure out the rebounding too. Rebounding is mostly effort, with good positioning and anticipation. But, mostly effort.

Mizzou is tied for 114th in offensive rebounds this year. Against weak teams mostly. Sounds rebounding is a strength to me. Moron.winonsports wrote: ↑13 Nov 2025 09:54 amYou skipped the most important stats searching for something negative. The ESPN box score has OREB listed ninth.

Porter's minutes will decline to potentially mop-up duty when Pierce gets back and if Northweather shoots anything like he has shown.

Mizzou is #1 in FG% this year. Made shots does the biggest damage to your OREB total.Kenny Boy wrote: ↑13 Nov 2025 12:20 pmMizzou is tied for 114th in offensive rebounds this year. Crews had a great game. 27 minutes and deserved that PT. 14 points, 4-6 from 3, and 8 boards, and was a key cog in that 2nd half run to blow it open.

No doubt, credit where credit is due, he had a nice game. If he can play like that more often that would be a big bonus.

Second half was encouraging as the team got in a good rhythm I thought on both ends of the floor.
Mitchell looks engaged and is showing some nice leadership.
Good to see the local kid Northweather doing so well.
Hoping to see Boateng back on the floor again.

But it was 22 points in ‘22. Largest margin for us in the Braggin Rights series.
