How many wide open dunks/layups are we going to give up in a row? This defense is BAD.

just put someone on #10 and tell them to stick to him. they keep letting go right by or leave him alone to cut to the basket.
pitiful.

Not sure why they went away from the zone. That was working better.

Wow. Northweather has a smooth stroke.

He was a big time scorer in high school. Made shots from 25 feet out routinely. Really good shooter. He’s just very unselfish.

Northweather with a rebound that leads to 2, a steal that leads to 2, and then hits a 3 on the break. Only shows up as 3 on nox score but he was responsible for all 8 pts

Is Phillips our Prubula, looks good against inferior competition, not so much against better teams?

Northweather is steady, going to be big this year.

This game has turned around quickly. We have the horses but need to work on defense, rebounding, and FT. Baby steps.

Outstanding 2nd half. Other than the rebounding just complete domination.

Game ball to Mark Mitchell. Great all around game.

Honorable mention to Crews. He really hit the boards and made a huge difference. Might be the best all around game I’ve seen him play here. If he does that he’ll really help us.

Barrett, Stone, Robinson and Mack had very good productive games. Lots of deflections, energy and made tough shots. Northweather’s stats don’t show what he did. Just a solid player out there who’s always dangerous from 3.

I’m concerned Phillips is not fundamentally sound enough defensively to be on the court enough. He jumps out of the gym but he’s always out of position and is easy to take by a decent offensive player. Stinks because it would be great if we could have him guard another team’s big effectively.

NO IDEA what will happen when and if we get Pierce and Boateng back. You’d think they’d both factor in significant minutes somehow. If they are good, someone’s minutes will suffer.

Great win!
One thing I noticed was Porter wasn't interacting with his team after the game.
All the players were celebrating but Porter was alone on the side with a big, long face.
Just an observation.
I certainly don't want to throw Porter "under the bus".

He has a really laid back look at all times. Don’t know if that’s just his personality but not much fire on the outside. He can shoot, but I’m not sure he’s got the intensity to play at this level.

Hard to believe that’s the same team that barely got by SEMO. They seem to improve on defense in the 2nd half so far this season. I think they also wore Minnesota out. They were gassed by the 12 min mark of the 2nd half.

Great win tonight. Showed a ton of character coming out in the 2nd half and going on that big run.
Definitely need to clean up the boards. Effort fellas. It takes a ton of effort to be good on the boards.
Gonna be a long season if they don't get that fixed.

Rebounded a little better in the 2nd half. Minnie out rebounded us by 8. Looked like it was going to be 20+.
Like to see Mack in a one-on-one contest. Problem is he has 4 teammates on the court. He's a "scorer", but when you're one on five you might want to pass the ball every once in a while. Somebody is probably open.
