Man, is Dvorsky playing well or what?

So good positionally and defensively that the coach trusts him with Kyrou on his wing. Always seems to make the smart play instinctually. Doesn't have to pause and think, just puts the puck where it should be after having been in the right spot to support the play in the first place. Great hands and also strong on the puck.

Showed his strong strides and straight line speed getting back through the neutral zone on a play. Passed his wingers and caught up to the defense where he was in solid position to break up the play entering our zone.

I get they're grooming the 20.5 year old, but I'd like to see him get more important draws and perhaps out there in critical situations like the 6 on 5.

Very impressed with his game, but really just pumped to see him expressing it at the NHL level. These are the things - the way he takes over the ice - that have impressed me since his 17/18 y/o film. It's not like Bolduc who suddenly decided he's a physical player. This is just who Dvo is. Love seeing him solidify the top-9 center core.

Tell me about it. It was a struggle to beat the worst team in the league who for large portions of the game dictated the play and dominated possession in the crunch time. Far cry from the Blues of the 2010s that were possession monsters. This just isn't fun to watch.

I'm seeing some things I like with Dvo but I'd like to see some actual possession and offensive instincts on display. Though I think a big part of that lacking is just overall team play and composition isn't great. Nobody can maintain possession or complete passes in the offensive zone on this team and it's maddening.

Need to see a lot more from Thomas, Kyrou, and Buch or they are going nowhere. Binner was rightfully the number one star.

I'm glad to see the optimism. I really hope that Dvorsky ends up being a long-time Blue. I'm wanting to see consistent assists, and I don't see that yet. You have an opinion on the lack of his assists?

Yeah no one in the top 6 is scoring. Makes it hard to get assists. Good lord.
