Wanted to post something fun.
We recently went to a family get together in Pittsburgh, lot of family in that area. While there we took a tour of PNC Park, stayed right across from it on the other side of the Clemente Bridge. I cannot express how impressive that place is. Seemed every angle you see the park from was well thought out. Just walking across the bridge to the park is a site to see. The attention to every tiny detail shows. We are in fact going to plan a trip next year to watch the Cardinals there due to our visit.
Got to tour all levels, the press box, the player tunnels, cafeteria, batting cages, dugout and the clubhouse itself. I do not think we took one bad picture there. There honestly doesn't look like there is a bad seat in the whole stadium. The had a wall of Gold Glovers, saw Andy Van Slyke on the wall. They had a list of their batting champions and one name stood out, Honus Wagner cause he had so many. Lots more stuff like that, the history of that franchise is fascinating. One of the cooler things I learned, they wear virtual glasses in the batting cages where they can see the pitcher they are facing that day. The guide did say it is really cool tech, maybe one of these days it will produce results on the field.
I highly recommend taking the tour if you ever get the chance.

Re: PNC Park Tour
I've never been there but I have a game MLB the Show which has an accurate representation of all MLB parks and PNC is my favorite. It's unfortunate the Pirates are such a poor team. Waste of a great ballpark.Edson wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 14:48 pm Wanted to post something fun.
