Army taking a play out his 2018/19 book and letting the GM’s know he’s open for business in the GM chat group. Mentioned that the Sens and Leafs have had interest in Schenn in past.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 13:23 pmwhats the summationChooseBlues wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 13:21 pm They discuss the Blues around the 41min mark.

The one thing I have a problem with is when Friedman says Army probably doesn’t want to leave the team in a bad state for Steen taking over next year but to me the flip side is if the team continues to be bad, he would be in effect doing the same thing by not making any moves.

What would be the nail in the coffin would be to get beat by calgary. But im sure if we beat calgary then win the next game we will be trending in the right direction again right?
Maybe army gets real creative and drops steen off a top 5 pick, some free roster spots and a little more salary cap. Thats the gift that keeps on giving.
As negative of a start as we have had i just feel it would be wrong to look a gift horse in the face and not make something of it.

oh unless we see them go on a run I think a move is absolutely getting done before the end of Nov. What kind of move? Not sure exactly as who knows what's really out there, but there's no way Army just sits on his hands and waits to see if they turn things around in his final year.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 13:40 pmArmy taking a play out his 2018/19 book and letting the GM’s know he’s open for business in the GM chat group. It won't be anything that mortgages the future, but it will be a move that shakes up the "core"

IMHO, Kyrou has to be the move. Binner, Schenn, or Parayko wouldn't bring back as much, and are worth more in the room. Kyrou would almost be addition by subtraction.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 13:55 pmoh unless we see them go on a run I think a move is absolutely getting done before the end of Nov. The hurdle there is that it has to be with a team he would agree to a trade with and it has to be a team you want something from.Army's Mom wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 19:12 pmIMHO, Kyrou has to be the move. That is tough part as that is probably a very small list.
