8-4, 4-4 SEC looks like the most optimistic season record.

I don't think they win another game with this QB situation.

+1. I didn't foresee Zollers being completely incompetent. I don't remember a worse QB performance at MU.
The play calling was equally miserable. A&M had quick outs and slants that were quick and often productive. I don't recall any by MU.

This was, imo, Moore's worse performance ever, on multiple fronts...too many to count. Stevie Wonder could have called a better game.

Matt did not play well but never had a chance, really, thanks to Moore. This loss was not on Zollers. This loss is on Moore and by extension, Drink, for allowing it to happen.

Numbers don’t lie. True freshmen making their 1st start against top 5 opponents are now 0-18 in the last 20 years. Most of those have been blowouts.

This was tough sledding folks. Our OLine and offensive coordinator / coaching staff had to be 100% on point in pass protection for Zollers to have a chance to succeed. They failed miserably and really Zollers had no shot.

Apparently A&M knew what we were going to do before we even did it.

Add to that A&M being allowed to hold our receivers all over the field and it was just too much against that pass rush. There’s a reason they’re 9-0.

This isn’t going to be a championship season but we can still have a solid season and build momentum for next year. But the coaching staff has to get their [shirt] together on offense. Might need some changes in the off season.

Things are a coin flip - Drink rolled the dice by not getting an experienced high level QB. AU got Arnold and it didn't work. OU got Mateer and it seems to be working. Then season ending injuries in first game. What smarts are the AL and Vandy loses.
