Aight therapy dawg but you’re talking to adult fans of pro sports on an online forum. They just lost to the worst team in the league in nearly every single scoring category…after having a two goal lead…with less than 1 second left….again.DawgDad wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 20:46 pmOverreaction.WilliamWestcliffe wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 20:44 pm Amazing how they can keep following up the worst loss of the year with the worst loss of the year.
Burn. It. Down.
Name one positive attribute this team displays consistently for 60 minutes of hockey. Name one thing they’ve improved upon.
We’re watching regression, not growth. Whatever this is it isn’t working, reboot it.

At some point this is on the guys behind the bench. Zero accountability. The PK has been bad for two years running. The 5 on 6 is grossly incompetent. And yet it’s the exact same coaching staff. No one is held accountable. It’s a country club atmosphere. Why is your -14, 2 goal scorer the 3rd forward on the ice in OT? I mean when the same failures keep happening and the coach doesn’t change anything that’s on the coach.
Re: GDT: Kraken at Blues 6:00 FanDuel
You mean your -12, 2 goal third forward? Why’s does he gets more ice time than players with better stats? You got me. One constant of the past years with TERRIBLE 6 on 5 play, very predictable PP is named Ott. This must be the old boys club. Nobody liked him as a player.2forDiving wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 22:09 pm At some point this is on the guys behind the bench. Zero accountability. The PK has been bad for two years running. Yeah, and one thing I've noticed opposed to other teams playing a man down is that they rarely pressure the points. Point men are allowed to free wheel and/or close in. It happened again tonight with 2 seconds left. Way too passive. And that results in a lot of opposition time in the offensive zone even when at even strength.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 20:51 pmIt's mostly Monty. Monty still hasn't fixed that issue in penalty kills and killing 6 on 5s to end games.

Ott was a direction I was going to take, but decided not to, but what does he do? Whenever a ST is doing well, he gets credit for it, and whenever that same unit fails, well then someone else is running it now. Or so it seems.JR1 wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 22:34 pmYou mean your -12, 2 goal third forward? Why’s does he gets more ice time than players with better stats? You got me. Same issue at 6 on 5, too. Points get free reign and still somehow the other team ends with one or two guys behind our D, too. So they don’t cover the points. Don’t tie up the forwards AND don’t take away passing lanes. It’s like taking candy from a child.icon wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 22:39 pmYeah, and one thing I've noticed opposed to other teams playing a man down is that they rarely pressure the points. I’m under the impression that Ott runs the PP. The PP that has #10 on the first unit. He does not belong on the first or second PP unit. Nor should he see the ice in OT. They tried to put it on Parayko for the OT goal but it was 10 who lost coverage. I think it’s time to blow this up at the deadline. I’ve been an avid fan since 1967 and I’d like to at least see a deep run in a few years as my years are numbered.2forDiving wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 22:39 pmOtt was a direction I was going to take, but decided not to, but what does he do? I don’t get being so passive on the point men. Sometimes they are a half stride from battling for the puck and they back off, losing coverage because of a point to point pass. I don’t know whose system this is but the Blues are the ONLY team that doesn’t press the point.2forDiving wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025 22:42 pmSame issue at 6 on 5, too. JR1 -I’m 72 so feel your pain.
It’s sad we had a Stanley Cup winner in 2019 and army decided to blow up the team.
I thought that Ott likely ran the power-play. I think he’s considered the X’s and 0’s man. Unless Monty did it himself, who else could it be? Yet Ott is frequently mentioned as a sought after Coach. Too bad another team doesn’t want him so that we can see what a different coach could possibly do.
I’m tired of seeing the anemic offense.
The worst thing about the game was the pathetic 19 shots on goal, including five in each of two of the periods. If we have more shots the other team has less time in our end. That’s what lost the game in regulation. It seems like the players have tuned Montgomery out. So who’s gonna go?
Monty or some players?

I don’t understand how a shot from the point gets through with a second left on the clock and 11 skaters in the zone. Get a body in front of that shot. You do it all game.
Re: GDT: Kraken at Blues 6:00 FanDuel
Colton wussed out and moved out of the way on the replay instead of taking the shot in his gut or shoulder.bluetunehead wrote: ↑09 Nov 2025 07:57 am I don’t understand how a shot from the point gets through with a second left on the clock and 11 skaters in the zone.
