I really hope Steen has a different approach to what Army has built here the last 6 years.

It's mostly Monty. He coaches not to lose.

I’m not a fan, but this goes way deeper than Monty. It’s a personnel/mentality issue. There’s so little skill and will. Not effort, but will. Assertiveness, aggressiveness. They have none throughout the lineup. It’s been an issue longer than Monty.

It's not all Monty. You are right. Bernie is blaming officiating. That IS all about gaming. He has to coach better, not storm off like he did.

Agreed. The roster is almost the same as last year's. During that late season run last year, the Blues aggressively forced the play. This year their play seems passive. I was just a goalie and don't claim to be any hockey strategy expert as much as I love the sport. But what I see in the O zone is a lot of perimeter play when they get puck control with little net front presence. What I see in the D zone is the spacing of the 5 very compact leading to not getting to loose pucks and extended possession for the opponent.
