Danault, Kempe, Doughty all soon to expire with small lists of teams on NTCs.

Doughty, Kempe, and Ed for Kyrou, Faulk, Texier, couple prospects like Buchinger/Robertsson/Gaudet, and draft picks.

Worry about signing Kempe later :D

Neighbours-Thomas-Kempe

Fowler-Doughty
Broberg-Parayko
Ed-Mailloux
Good idea, but they don't want our scrubs when they can trade each one individually for a top/decent prospect & a 1st.

Texier is a tweener
Faulk is a T-Rex armed wiener
And Kyrou is an overpaid Pajama Boy pansy
Well we're in last place, so our draft picks might be valuable.

Those players (Kempe, Doughty & Eddy) most likely wouldn't agree to a trade to a last place team then. They probably would like to compete, play some playoff hockey and try to win a Stanley Cup.

Yeah, they'll turn it around quick with the lineup above.

I'd go overseas and look to sign Viktor Lodin (who's having another good start).... and for a bonafide [shirt] disturber look to Albin Grewe. Steen must know all about both of them.

worth another look IMO is Lucas Elvenes.

I went back and read Ziggy’s comments about Thomas’ poor body language after a near miss for example. It is like he’s learned off his young baby.

I was going to point out another player with very poor body language. Jordan Binnington skates in and around the back left corner when a questionable goal was scored against him.
This is exactly what Jake Allen did when he gave up a goal.
And we know what happened to Jake going on to be a part-time goalie for others. I don’t remember any other top goalies skating loops in the corner after giving up a goal.
Maybe I’m not watching other goalies enough , but between what Binnington does and Thomas does it does not exude confidence but carryover frustration. I do not remember Binner skating those corner loops in 2019.

Who are these players you speak of? Were they all passed over in recent drafts?

Binny has always done that. goalies are a creature of habit

and Thomas is just showing disappointment... I'd be more concerned if he didn't
