Golden country. Your face is so red. With all of your money; your poor could be Feed. REO

Ok. We have maybe the best infield in baseball. GG at third, SS, and Donovan at second. Add Scott to the mix, and our infield and up the middle defense is second to none.

Now- four more position players can play average, with some good pitching, we have a chance to move up a notch.

Make post season. Then we see.

WC at first base is very good defensively, also. But he is likely to be traded this off season, imho. Nado also.

The IF will revolve around Winn and Wetherholt up the middle. Everything else are puzzle pieces to add in.

Shout out to REO Speedwagon AND Neil Young

And he will only get better. I agree. Only makes infield better.

I took it to reference my habit, with very short lived effects. He would be right.

In 1966 and 1967 Gene Alley and Maz won it with the Pirates and in 1983 and 84 Trammel and Whitaker won it together. that's just the one's I know of without looking.
Fox and Aparicio both won in 59 and 60.

Pretty much a GG infield with a potential GG CF. Yet cannot play .500 MLB.

Cardinals' own Fernando Vina and Edgar Renteria both won in 2002.

Jimmy Ballgame won for CF the same year. With Matheny at C, Tino Martinez and Placido Polanco at 1B and 3B, and JD Drew in RF (Albert was in LF), that was a pretty good defensive team.
