Fan Duel is just the current name of the same tv network that the Blues have been aligned with for decades. Fox Sports Midwest > Bally > Fan Duel. They’re still effectively the same entity behind the scenes. That’s not changing. Same with the Cards, who have a minor ownership stake with the network as well.

To me, this is all part of 101 espn bringing in "bro sports". Instead of intelligent talk, there's TMA with the creepy old man Doug Vaughn all bantering and reading listener emails for a half hour like junior high boys. It's so painful to listen to, IMO.
Might as well bring in Pat McAfee and Barstool on a straight stream.

I’ve actually liked listening to Kerber and Vitale on the Internet radio when I couldn’t get to watch on the TV. However, watching the game on TV, I expect the play-by-play to follow the passes and the shots and the hits. But poor Joey has so much ADHD that he ropes Kerbs in to a different topic during the play-by-play.
A little banter back-and-forth works for me during the radio broadcast, but does not work at all on TV

I didn’t listen to the Buffalo broadcast, but I hate when the announcers are too generic and lack personality. That’s why Joe and Jack Buck never worked for me. They were too dull a game should be exciting to watch and listen to as the announcers should both reflect the tone of the game in their voices. Frankly, there were too many stories tonight. Kerber needs to be responding to the flow of the game, not weave a story during the play by play.

I am a benefit of the doubt guy too............ no more. Its a subpar broadcast and whoever said there were 2 minute gaps in the pbp is correct. I was trying to catch the end of the game, halfway thru the 3rd period they were blabbering on & on. I thought "krap thats odd". It sounds like i can hear sticks clashing & other normal backround hockey sounds u can hear if u listen closely. Went on for roughly 2 full minutes. Brutal..... unless u just want general hockey talk. I wanted the darn game pbp. Blues need to fix this krap.

I used to enjoy the morning show with Randy and the sweet sounding girl who lived in U City. You can count on Blues talk. Also, Kerber came on Mondays at 8:15 and Joey V Fridays at 8:15 too. Chris Kerber really shows his knowledge and love for the team and Joey is full of experience and interesting observations. But during a game, there is a time to do play by play…. So follow the play for heavens sake. it’s not like we were losing 6 to 1 tonight. I could see more rambling after the game got out of hand.
Owen went back to The Morning Show TMA. I can’t listen to very much of it at all because I can’t tell when the Blues talk is gonna be and that’s what I listen for mainly
