According to ME-ville he is a superior hitter to Herrera and others!
I would honestly miss his Sideshow Clown Act if he left.

I only read his posts if they're a few sentences. I skip over the redundant soliloquys.

Low average. Mediocre power. I'd be surprised if we get much in return.

That's right. The players I suggested as points of interest are flawed too. Lawler in particular, has been worse than Gorman so far.

I believe the intent of the organization is to trade Nado and play Gorman as the everyday 3B in 2026. Sink or Swim time for Nolan Gorman.

That's why I'd keep Donovan.

They very well may be connected that way.

Gorman 14 HR 46 RBI .205 avg
Donovan 10/50/.287

Keep Donovan play Wetherholt at 2B/3B. Or move Contreras for a 3B and put Hererra or Burleson at 1B.

Yeah, I think it's about what the roster is with them. Which horse you want to ride.
IF they are standing with a unproductive Gorman and a Donovan preparing to be elsewhere at the
end that seems wasteful.

I have no problem with either. It depends highly on what deal they'd be saying no to and how soon are they trying to be NLC winners. I do have the opinion of keeping him on the infield IF kept, o/w I'd rather see him dealt. In guessing his
future production, I'd guess that he'll maintain through his 32/33 year, which is a 4/5 year window which is
similar to all players window with any single team. There's what 4 seasons of control with Winn or Herrera?

JJ might have the upside needed at 3B, Winn, BD and as now WC at 1B open to change
whether that's Burleson, Herrera, Blaze Jordan, or somebody else.

If the plan is Gorman at 3B then I don't see how they can trade Donovan.
