Not saying the Blues will do that but wow this is the worst I've seen this team play in I don't know how long it's been. Ever?

What a long disappointing season this is going to be....

I was so happy last year when they started playing meaningful games again but now we have this sh*t show!

So was I. I thought for sure this team would come out firing on all cylinders this season. I thought they'd flirt with 100 pts. This is depressing.

Goaltending was the only thing that could de-rail the team this quickly. I didn’t forget that Binnington has stumbled out of the gate the past 3 seasons to put the team in a hole. That’s now 4 in a row and sadly a legit problem

Game was scoreless and the puck had been in the Blues zone already 2+ min. Kyrou gets the puck and has a chance to clear it. He makes a weak play in the desperate moment and the puck stays in the zone another 40 seconds and the Blues take a penalty and the Caps instantly score and an onslaught was on.

He by no means is the main reason they look like this but I understand why coaches hate him

That whole first period looked like a Caps power play. They were just not eager to play hockey tonight and folded up shop in the second unfortunately.

Right! It's the team and poor coaching as well. Watch how many saves go right to the goalies chest and glove. Thats poor shooting also. Nice goal there though....

The 2-3 shifts before that one were really good. Broberg and Thomas with prime chances then right after both Sunny and Holloway sacrificed their body to block a big shot Kyrou has time and space to simply flip it out and fails. Game was never the same after that
