Mon. Nov. 10th is the start of the MLB GM meeting in Las Vegas. Nov. 10-13 are the dates of the meetings. While trades very rarely occur , teams do get to find out what other teams have as needs and what players they may possibly be on the market for trade.
For example, there has been a good deal of discussion on CT forum whether Bloom may trade Gorman or retain him for 2026 season. Bloom may get a feel next week if there are teams that may be interested in Gorman . If so , that could push Bloom into more trade discussions at the Winter Meetings in Orlando in December. Conversely, if there isn't much interest at all in Gorman , Bloom could be more inclined to retain him for 2026.
The above is only one example. There are others on Cardinals roster that will draw interest.
One week from today Bloom gets to assess other teams interest in several Cardinal players

Good post IMO.
It's refreshing to see a good post that is very factual.
Surprising to me as to why no replies.
Maybe because it didn't say anything to dispute.
