Too bad.....I really want to waste some years to root for losing.
Im glad to hear that you can eat frozen pizza everyday for your few remaining days, and be happy. Some want something more to look forward to. We dream bigger.
Oh I dream of a Cup just as much a you do. I'm just not under your illusions that hoping for top picks guarantees one.
If you are aware that a top pick doesn't guarantee one, I'm sure that you're also aware that Thomas and Kyrou don't guarantee one either.

What a top pick does guarantee is that the city has an elite talent to be proud of. It also guarantees that you can watch an elite talent every game.

It's amazing that people think that Stan Musial is not necessary. They would be happy with the hard-working collection of short-career "guys" that Musial played with over the 20 years.
Daigle, Stefan, DiPietro, Yakupov, and Brian Lawton, just to name a few, say hi Smelly! No first 5 pick is certain and to lose all the games to get there, well to each their own, I guess.

Every NHL city understands that elite talent is found at the top of the draft. No guarantees, but that is where your have the very best chance.

Dillards doesn't guarantee a good fitted suit either, but that doesn't mean that I will go to Goodwill instead.

Who are these "people" of whom you speak? Perhaps they reside inside your empty head?

I remain amazed this guy gets the play he gets on this board.

Personally I don't read anything he puts up.

Just one perspective is all.

He doesn’t dream of a Cup, at least not for the Blues.
You need to get out more. BluesTalk is polluting your mind. EVERY NHL CITY recognizes the importance and significance of having elite talent on the roster. EVERY NHL CITY realizes that the BEST WAY to acquire that talent is a high pick in the NHL draft.

It's only St Louis that believes that they don't need one -- BECAUSE THAT IS THE HOCKEY SLOP THAT ARMY THROWS OVER THE FENCE TO THEM.
You just keep regurgitating the same tired schtick, but you did trip yourself up. Even if it is the BEST way, it’s by NO means the ONLY way

It's coming, Sports Fans!!!!

Army will not stand for a TOP 5 pick that will get us on the map for the future. No-SIREEE. The Blues don't operate like every other franchise and use their draft picks.

Cash registers must ring in St Louis!!!!

So that means... Army will be mortgaging our future to bring in a veteran splash for today. There will be no consideration for the future. IT WILL BE WIN WIN WIN about 1/2 the games this year.

Without a doubt... Kiss the excitement of a TOP5 draft pick goodbye. We have to play 500 hockey this year and next OR BUST.
