Unfortunate Event

Post by Mr.Snuggleupagus »

Are the Blues going to be the unfortunate team to allow the 900th goal of Ovechkin's career?

That would be shittie.

Who needs a standout player for 20 years?
Who needs 900 goals in a Blues uniform?
Who needs a HOFer for St Louis kids to rally behind during their childhood?

We got Army, and we got Kyrou. It can't get any more fantastic than that.

They just had a promotion for tomorrow nights game on TNT.

Hopefully Mailloux and/or Hofer aren't in tomorrow night. Binnington probably doesn't want to play, he don't wanna be the goalie to possibly give up the 900th and be on all the highlight reels for NHL eternity.

Right because all the teams have an Ovie. Oh wait, there’s only one of him.
He’s got just as many Cups as the Blues btw

theo, green grass, and snuggleupagus are the current triumvirate of losers around here these days. truly worthless living here day in and day out. they all need to touch grass. professional sports don't affect my life or enjoyment one way or another, yet it really seems in their cases, it does. fascinating stuff.

They are all looking for attention and clicks, nothing more, nothing less. Glow sticks: you just want to snap them and wait till the light comes on.

Lol as soon as he gets 901, 900 isn't going to matter. The highlights will be the record breaker and the record setter.

The 900th is no different from the 757th HR Bonds hit. No one remembers, that's not how this works.

How unfortunate.

Seems we've reached the point where things are going slightly less terribly so we have to invent things to fret about. Just like that franchise record we just didn't set against the Oilers.

You won’t remember Ovechkin scoring his 900th against the Blues?

why does anyone care about this? If anything it brings more eyeballs on the Blues. That's a welcome thing. Anytime the Blues get a Wednesday TNT crew game thats a good thing. More possibility to be on larger branded podcasts like chiklits and such. Only trolls and bots would negatively change the narrative around a nationally televised game for the Note.

Blues got to set a record the other night by holding McJesus, Drai, RNH to 0 shots on goal for the first time in their career as a combo. That was 700 games in the making. Not quite 900 but a large number. Cool stuff for the Blues this week.

I know I’ll personally be very embarrassed if the nhl’s all time leading goal scorer scores a goal against us tonight. The horror.

I seriously doubt Binny gives a [shirt] one way or the other, especially when we beat the Caps in regulation. What a clown you are.
