It was a nice shot. I'd like to see it a few more times before I'd call it elite but it was a nice shot.

Don't blink when you watch the replay. Trust me, that was a full body torque in half a blink.

If he keeps up his play, no way he gets sent down.

Dvorsky isn't going anywhere, not for about 15 years.

Don't see how you send him down... Schenn is clearly playing better at wing too. Think when Jake comes back you put him with Holloway and Dvorsky...that would result in three pretty solid offensive and defensive lines

[the Dvorsky shot reminded me of the shorter lost ..Bolduc

Between him and Snuggerud they both have so much puck sense. They have a real nose for the puck and to stay with the play.
Made Kyrou almost looked like a forgotten forward tonight watching DD play

Although it looked like the puck was going end over end when he shot it, it was a bullet nonetheless.

Yeah, he's here to stay. He's solid. Not intimidated. There might be a few games of growing pains, but he looks good.

DD had his first losing game in the faceoff dot, 1-7. Still, you have to consider the opposition. He didn't look overmatched out there, stays composed, plays within the system.

Dvorsky is our #1 prospect

Lindstein and Snuggerud are the next two min whichever order, because of their likelihood of being excellent at their positions.

IMO Stenberg fourth, Carbo fifth

Then IMO it's the three defensemen (Fischer, Jiricek (rising), Mailloux (falling)) and Stancl and Pekarcik (rising) in the next group. This is a group that should all be NHL players.

Ralph is a wild card. He plays with MSU vs Gavin McKenna/Penn St. twice this coming weekend. Hope to see at least some of it.
Korotky I have no eyes on, he is a wild card to me and I prefer him be that way, just drop out of the blue one day and be amazing, sure. I'll take it.

They had him out there for a number of key draws, which is pretty telling.

Not attacking your analysis here, but I don't ever get too worked up over prospect rankings. There's a group that project to eventually play in the NHL, a smaller group that project to latch onto a role, a smaller group that project to be top-4/top-6, and the players now and then that look like certain NHL all-stars. The Blues have at least a handful of guys projecting into top-4/top-6, more for depth, and they still have all their future first round picks. They are going to be ok.

I think it's coming time to scratch Snuggerud and Dvorsky off the prospect list. Technically, after their Calder season, but these guys are in the NHL to stay.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Mailloux now. He's clearly got talent but his game looks very unsteady in light of the Blues on-ice expectations.

Stringing a few wins together could help the whole team loosen up a little. Mailloux might be able to show some of his skill more when it doesn’t constantly feel like 1 mistake will cost you the game.

This needed to be said about Mailloux. It's bad enough to be thrown in there with Tucker, not that he's a problem, just another player finding his game. But the team was all over the place in terms of system and where to be. Put Mailloux on a steadier systematic group and he might be able to gain some confidence and loosen up.

Just a hopeful thought.

You would think that might have crossed the minds of the people in charge. Man did they set him up to fail, crazy that was the plan of the professionals.
